Alessia and Oliver got to know each other from a dating app. Since their first date 3 years ago, they are now married and have two children together. The engagement happened a year prior to the wedding, when Oliver got down on one knee at the bedside and romantically proposed.

The lead up to the big day involved 12 months of planning, and on the day, it paid off! In the morning Alessia, along with her mother, sister, and bridesmaids, went to the studio to have their hair and make-up done. Meanwhile, the small children and even dogs played happily in the outdoor space.

Their ceremony was purposely short and sweet, they didn’t want a long ceremony, as wanted to move from ‘single’ to ‘married’ quickly, so the service was kid-friendly and brief. Their two children joined them at the altar, which they wanted to symbolize their union as a family unit going forward.

The couple did not want a traditional wedding, instead, they chose a casual modern style. Their photoshoot followed suit, it was creative and playful! After a champagne reception in front of the church, they went to a very special location. The location was surrounded by dilapidated and overgrown buildings in a field of wild flowers, a spot where magical memories are created and kept forever! The groom was carried there by his friends, whilst the bride and her bridesmaids walked side by side.

The color scheme was red and white, with a hint of silver. Alessia worse a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and a princess style beaded corsage. She had a veil and matching bridal bouquet with red roses and white calla flowers. The groom accessorized his suit with red stipes and red on his shoes also. The cutest of the group? The children! They were dressed in matching colors while the oldest daughter wore a white dress with a red ribbon, and the smallest wore a bright red dress made from tulle.

They had a church wedding in Bulgaria, and then the wedding ceremony cross-border in Aachen. Spontaneously, the newly married couple also decided to spend their honeymoon in Bulgaria – reminding us not everything has to be organized to the last detail to turn out fantastically!
