On Wednesday, June 27th 2018, Natalie and Ryan tied the knot in Fawcett Alberta. This wedding was small and magical. It was very personal, with 25 of their closest friends and family celebrating with them, just how they had dreamed it to be!
A farm girl, marrying a farm boy, with a love of horses and the outdoors, what better fit than to have their wedding ceremony in the outdoors too! Their friends describe them as the perfect match for each other, they have a special bond with each other, and their close family and friends around them.
Their ceremony was on family land, they set up square bales down by the river for the guests to sit on. The aisles were decoration with modest flowers in yellow, purple and white. The day begun with a few storm clouds in the sky, luckily by the time the wedding begun they had all passed! Their reception was held in their basement, with a yummy meal (by all accounts) and delicious cupcakes. It was everything they wanted it to be, simple without the frills, no speeches, no dances, no huge party. But love, family, and friends all celebrating a beautiful beginning!
The Brides stunning tea length half sleeved gown was hung up in the middle of their woodland ready to be worn, what a magical sight! She paired her dress with a white delicate netted headpiece, and her hair in a low bun. The groom wore smart denim jeans, paired with a white shirt, purple tie, and a grey waistcoat.
The wedding photographs were taken by the lovely lakeside, very tranquil and dreamy, with trees and greenery surrounding them. They had the most perfect day, and did it their way. We wish them all the happiness in the world.
