『 We met the classic country way– out for drinks at a local bar! We got to talking, I asked him if he had met his soulmate yet. He said, “Not yet” and I decided maybe I could be the one for him! We were together from then on. Four years later, we got engaged while traveling in Mexico City and this past September we made our commitment in front of all our family and friends!
We got married in a barn in rural Idaho. We chose this venue because it had a laid-back, country feel to it and it would allow a big party! We had over 300 guests, a DJ, and a live Mexican band that played until 2 a.m. We needed a lot of space for all that fun! 』

3. How did you choose your wedding dress?
I was an easy going bride and I wanted something gorgeous yet simple.
4. How did you feel in your dress?
The materials was silky and flowed in a very flattering way. I adored the neckline and the intricate bodice. I got a lot of compliments saying that I looked so elegant and feminine in the dress.
5. What made you choose JJsHouse?
JJ’s House allowed me to try on the dress to make sure I loved it, then take measurements and send it back and get one exactly fitted to me. It was simple and the customer service was always helpful.
6. What was your favorite moment of that day?
Favorite moment: So hard to pick just one moment!! The most powerful moment was when I was walking down the aisle with both my father and my mother. Hundreds of our friends and family were crying happy tears. Then I started crying too then I looked to the altar and saw my future husband looking at me with loving eyes. It just felt like I was the happiest person in the world at that moment.

8. What’s your best tip for dressing on the Big Day to share with other brides?
There are a lot of options out there, but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is that you feel beautiful and can move around and enjoy the day to the max! Nobody really cares what size you are, how much you spent, or who the designer was. They just want to see you feeling pretty and happy! Wishing you the best!
