“The best tip for other brides is to remember that it really is YOUR day and nobody elses. Not your sisters or your moms or even your maid of honors, though they will all have their own opinions, it is SO important to do what you want. You will have these memories for the rest of your life and the pictures around your house for as long as you live. Make sure you enjoy what you remember and see!”
1. Bride + Groom’s Name
Madison and Dustin Berrong
2. When was the wedding day?
October 12, 2019
3. How did you choose your bridesmaid dress?
I let all of my girls pick their own dresses! What really helped us chose was being able to get color samples from the JJ’s House via mail. Once I had the color swatches, I told the girls which type of color, fabric and length to look at, and then they chose which ever dress they loved from there! I had all of the girls send me their exact dress ID and size and then I made the total purchase. This way we didn’t have to worry about any little details like anyone ordering late, or paying extra shipping costs. It really worked well for finding a dress that was special for each body type and personality, and ultimately made everyone more comfortable day of.
4. How did you feel in your dress?
ALL of the bridesmaids spoke so highly of their dresses and how confident they felt in them. The colors could not have been more perfect and were as described.
5. What made you choose JJsHouse?
A big reason of why I chose JJ’s House was the large selection, and the average price. They fit our budget and we were able to get exactly what we wanted! The ability to get the fabric swatches by mail so quickly also made the decision that much easier.
6. What was your favorite moment of that day?
I think one of the best parts of the day, other than actually getting married, was getting to spend so much time with friends and family. Looking back at all of the pictures, you can just see the joy and happiness in everyones faces. It was really the most perfect day of family and fun that we can all remember forever.
7. Three words to sum up the wedding day:
Fun, Fast, Full!
8. What’s your best tip for dressing on the Big Day to share with other brides or bridesmaids?
The best tip for other brides is to remember that it really is YOUR day and nobody elses. Not your sisters or your moms or even your maid of honors, though they will all have their own opinions, it is SO important to do what you want. You will have these memories for the rest of your life and the pictures around your house for as long as you live. Make sure you enjoy what you remember and see! It is also so important to not sweat the little details or things that may go wrong. At the end of the day, you were able to get married and spend the day with those who matter most to you! Nobody will remember if a center piece doesn’t match or their seat was off center. A big, and important, tip for bridesmaids is to remember that you are there supporting the bride. If she needs help, you help her. You aren’t there to make the day harder, more nerve-racking or more dramatic. Be an assistant, make her look good! And help the mom’s and sisters out too. They are going through just as many emotions as the bride!
