On a stormy night in a Budapest bar, one Hungarian girl decides to tour guide with her Colombian friends whilst one Mexican-Spanish guy decides to meet up with friends. Little did they know, that otherwise normal night would change their life forever.
As the warm summer months passed and Angela & Eguzki’s love story grew more and more, they moved to sunny Brussels for work. At first it was difficult as they missed their Budapest’s lifestyle, yet they managed to adapt to the land of beer, fries and chocolate.
During their travels in Japan, the big question was asked to which the response “Of course” brought intense joy and relief. After only 2 weeks, this calmness stopped with the question“How will we organize the wedding?”
1. Bride + Groom’s Name
Angela & Eguzki.
2. When was the wedding day?
June 29, 2019
3. What location did you choose to get married? What made you choose this venue?
My husband is from Mexico and Spain and I am from Hungary, so wanted to incorporate both of our cultural heritage in the wedding theme. We chose Babos Ranch in the South of Hungary in the middle of the Great Plain. The Ranch has a barn to host weddings and other family events, which was a perfect fit for the Mexican fiesta theme. The roof is wooden and it was decorated with white papel picados. For the background of the main table and 2 photo corners we had colourful paper fans and flowers. The tables were decorated with traditional Mexican table runners. The food and the whole landscape of the venue was authentic countryside style of Southern Hungary.
4. How did you feel in your dress?
I chose for my venue dress JJ’s house’s evening dress #164910 in burgundy. It was a perfect match for the Mexican fiesta theme. It is long satin dress, which was appropriate for the event, yet very unique with the color and the style, not at all typical choice. The skirt had a great flow for dancing and yet the dress still felt much lighter then a typical wedding dress. I am very happy with my choice.
5. What made you choose JJsHouse?
It was recommended in wedding Facebook group. I also bought the dresses for the flower girls, hairpiece and gifts for the maid of honors. It’s page where you find everything for your wedding.
6. What was your favorite moment of the day?
When we entered the venue to mariachi music. It was spontaneous, unexpected and fun.
7. Three words that sum up your day?
Love, family & friends
8. What’s your best tip for dressing for the big day to share with other brides?
Wear something you feel pretty and comfortable. Don’t compromise and if you feel self-conscious in something that’s not the right choice.
